Leather care

Handcrafted in Italy

Expertly handcrafted by our dedicated artisans, each item is designed to endure. To ensure its longevity, we recommend taking a few precautions to avoid common mistakes.

Love the leather.

At 176 Marches, we use full-grain leathers, carefully selected for their durability and elegance (learn more on our leathers). These materials showcase the natural beauty of leather, with unique characteristics like wrinkles that add to its authenticity and charm.

As a living material, leather evolves, becoming softer and developing a distinctive patina over time. With regular use, your 176 Marches piece will gain its own unique character, reflecting your personal journey.

How to take care of your 176 Marches piece.

To maintain its appearance and colour, avoid exposure to water, continuous sunlight, and extreme humidity or dryness.

If your item comes into contact with water, gently wipe it with a soft cloth to prevent any stains or bubbles from forming as it dries. Do not use a hair drier to dry it.

Certain substances, like ink, fragrances or alcohol can leave permanent marks.

Frequent contact with raw or dark-coloured fabrics may discolour lighter shades of leather.

Avoid inserting bulky items that may distort the shape of your piece.

When not in use, store it in a warm, dry place away from light, ideally in its provided protective cover.
